The Exhibition Association
The Exhibition Association of the City and County of Saint John is a volunteer- based, non-profit organization, established in 1889, for the purpose of staging fall fairs and agricultural exhibitions for the residents of Saint John. These lands were acquired by the Exhibition Association in 1950.
A careful steward of the property, and always dedicated to the service of the community, the Association has guided the evolution of the Park, addressing the changing needs and expectations of the people who use it.
In 2013 an initiative to find the Park’s next opportunity attracted a proposal for a community recreation facility that ultimately led the Association to make significant investments of land and money to help establish the Greater Saint John Field House Project, a new non-profit entity which developed and owns this facility.
In keeping with the tradition of Exhibition Park, the Field House promises to be gathering place for our community. A place where we come together to meet, to play, to create lifelong memories. A tribute to all who have contributed in so many ways and a fitting legacy for our founding partner, the Exhibition Association of the City and County of Saint John.
