Group Fitness Classes

50+ Fitness: This class is designed for anyone starting a fitness program and for active adults (50+). It includes weights and flexibility.

HIIT: Add some variety to your workout! YMCA High Intensity Interval Training offers an efficient workout for your entire body, keeping you sharp and motivated by changing the speed and frequency of your activity. Interval training includes segments of cardio, muscle conditioning and flexibility exercises combined with brief periods of recovery. Agility, balance and coordination exercises may also be incorporated.

Bootcamp: Challenge yourself in a high-intensity circuit workout using your own body weight and a variety of equipment. YMCA Bootcamp is a powerhouse for strength, endurance, agility, coordination, and stress management!

Fall Prevention for 50+: Helps adults stay healthy, active, and mobile. Performing exercises that improve strength, balance and fitness are the single most important activities that adults can do to stay active and reduce their chance of falling.

Yoga: Rediscover and improve your strength, balance, and flexibility through yoga. YMCA Yoga classes will help you relax your mind while gently challenging, stretching, and relaxing your muscles. Don’t worry if you’re not flexible: yoga is safe and healthy for a wide range of body types. You’ll soon notice a stronger, more balanced body and an increase in your overall feeling of health and vitality.

Core de Force: A mixed-martial arts inspired total body workout. It is meant for all fitness levels. Core de Force is a non-contact, high-energy 50-minute workout, designed to bring out your inner athlete.

Sports and Recreation Programs

Pickleball: Pickleball is a court sport best described as halfway between tennis and ping pong. Participant organized drop-in play for any skill level. Equipment provided.

Lego Club:
Get ready to build amazing structures and let your imagination sore at the YMCA Lego Club. This is a fun Drop In program.

Pokémon Club: Gotta Catch’em All! Come trade and battle Pokémon with us.

Science Club: We will create science experiments and play science games during this free program.

Craft Club: Get creative with organized crafts!

Board Game Club: Enjoy a variety of games from board games, to sports in our open games room!

Personal Training

Trainer: Todd MacQueen

Todd began his career in the fitness industry 27 years ago working in personal training along with various sales, management and customer service jobs. He has also participated in organized sport including University NCAA 1 & CIAU hockey. Since 2001 he has been a Certified Personal Trainer with Can Fit Pro and a Sports Conditioning Coach with Twist Conditioning Inc.

Todd’s focus is to ensure that his clients become and stay educated, motivated and accountable, so that they may reach their fitness goals. He motivates his clients and encourages them to live by his motto:

“One body – One lifetime – Get moving!”
